Wesley, Ring Bearer

Wesley was the ring bearer at Allyssa and Jordan's wedding on Saturday. He looked adorable in his little tux! He didn't cooperate at all for the rehearsal or for many of the pics. I thought he was going to walk down the aisle until the last minute he started saying, "Up, please!" So, I carried him down the aisle. He sat with my parents during the wedding was pretty quiet. Grandpa had fruit snacks and M&M's in his pocket, and Uncle Seth had a toy horse. Wes did have to point out the cows a few times during the ceremony, yelling out "A boo!" right as one of the prayers started and during a few less awkward times.

At the end of the ceremony, he saw me and Nick both back down the aisle and followed on his own. After the ceremony, he hung out with Aunt Tammy while the bridal party did some pics at Pilot Grove. He did get mad when he saw me and the best man get introduced at the wedding reception, so he had to come with me then. He had fun at the reception. He enjoyed the punch and the bread the most at dinner. He also shared some of my cake. He got to stay up way past bedtime, so he could enjoy the fireworks put on by Uncle Seth and Grandpa Ray. Then it was time for a little dancing and he was off to bed at like 10:30.  I hoped he'd stay in bed later on Sunday, but he was ready to rise and shine at 7.

He got pretty overwhelmed being away from home so long and around people he doesn't know, but I am glad he saved his best behavior for the ceremony! For now, I just have a few cell phone pics, but the photographer got some cute ones, too. There are also a few of the three of us on Mom's camera that she hasn't shared yet.
