Wesley- 2 years, 3 months

Wesley is just over 27 months now. So, how's he doing? He is talking more and babbling all the time. His favorite words are uh oh, cheese, mama, boos, choo choo, and shoes. His current obsessions are cows (boos) and trains (choo choo) along with being outside in general.

We are still working on potty training. He does pretty well at home with peeing. He doesn't like to poop in the potty, but he did it today for the first time (well the first time he did the whole things on the potty and not some in his pants and some on the potty), so that was good. Sometimes I can get him to go in public and sometimes not. Big toilets, especially when the seat has the cut out (know what I mean??), are scary to him. So, he is in undies if he is at home and awake. If we are out in public or he's sleeping, he has pull ups.

As far as clothes, Wes is wearing mostly 2Ts, a few 18 months, and a few 3t (shirts only on this). He's in 8s for shoes, and spends most of his days in his Keens. They are so tough and have good traction and toe protection, so that makes us both happy!

He loves to play in the front yard most of all, especially with his Cozy Coupe and to help me water flowers. In the back yard, he enjoys his new sandbox (hand me down from cousin Tessa), the swing, water table, mower, and the slide. He's not a huge fan of his baby pool (fails in comparison to the aquatic center, I think), but he does like to sit by it and put his feet in it. Inside, he loves his tractors and trucks, along with his Legos and Mega Blocks.
