7 weeks (and a day)




Baby's brain -- both hemispheres! -- is growing fast, generating about 100 new cells every minute. Arms and legs are emerging as joints start to form, and a permanent set of kidneys (baby's third!) is now in place.

* How far along?: 7 weeks, 1 day

* Total weight gain: -5
* How big is baby?: the size of a blueberry
* Next appointment: Friday, August 28 at 1 PM- nurse appointment to next Wednesday
* Maternity clothes?: nope
* Stretch marks?: nope
* Sleep?: the last couple of days I've woken up between 3-4 and not been able to go back to sleep due to nausea
* Best moment this week?: telling family, especially the video of Josh
* Movement?: no
* Food cravings?: No cravings but less revulsion than before.
* Pregnancy symptoms: Nausea, sore breasts, tiredness
* Labor signs?: no
* Belly button in or out?: In.
*Gender: I still have no idea
* What I miss: can't think of anything
* What I'm looking forward to: Telling the rest of the family (still haven't told Nick's sisters)
* Milestone: Baby's hands are starting to form
