Christmas 2012

Christmas 2012 was amazing. Wesley was so fun this year.

December 22, we celebrated with my mom's family at Angie's house. We did our cookie day and Christmas dinner all on one day.

 December 23, we celebrated with Nick's family. Wesley loved his train sweater vest. Norah was less fond of her fancy schmancy dress.... but how cute is it?!?

 December 24 was pretty low key and we had no real plans until Christmas Eve service at 6. Here is Norah taking a bath in Grandma's sink.

Christmas morning Wesley was up just before 7 to find the loot that Santa brought - a Wooden Thomas set and some new books. Norah also got books, and she got a toy piano that hangs in her crib for now and will set on the floor to play with with she starts sitting up in a few months.

Santa filled their stockings, too. Grandma and Grandpa also put some things in their stockings. Wesley's stocking had socks, Thomas undies, a hot wheel car, and some other small things. Norah's stocking had socks, hair bows, and a rattle. Below is Norah Christmas morning in her PJs and one of her new bows.

Wesley and Norah were both spoiled at Christmas. Norah got some toys for when she is bigger and my mom made her a really neat bow holder for her room. I will post a pic once we get it hung up. She also got lots of clothes. Right now she is mostly wearing footie sleepers because she has to have Nesporin on her toe and I have a hard time getting socks to stay on otherwise. I can't wait for it to be all healed so she can wear her new clothes without worry! There is an especially adorable outfit from her Aunt Emi that I need to get washed so she can wear it. It may be the cutest thing I have ever seen... pictures to come!

Wesley got lots of new clothes, too, and some farm toys and a ton of Thomas toys. He got a Thomas track from Tammy and Seth that is huge and has battery powered engines and he loves it. Allyssa and Jordan got him an RC Thomas which he loves. He really likes his new toy cows that are more real looking than little people that he got from the Will family. He named the "tows" Mama and Wesley. I guess I will take that as a compliment.... Nick's parents got him some John Deere toys that he really likes, especially a tractor with a disc and a combine. Josh and Celie got him a football shirt that he loves because he loves football. They got him a train shirt, too, but he has to grow into that one yet. He also got a glow in the dark Thomas shirt from my parents that he is wearing today. It's pretty cute!

Some of Norah's clothes were a little small. I was able to match some of the outfits in a bigger size, but some I couldn't find. I have credit at Kohl's that I will probably use to buy her some summery clothes for our trip to FLORIDA at spring break. Can't wait!
