Norah is four months old today. She's currently napping in my arms. Her 4 month doctors appointment is Tuesday.
Norah is wearing some 0-3 clothes and some 3-6. She's in size 1 diapers. She doesn't really wear shoes but is a size 1.
She sleeps 9-6 at night, getting up occasionally to nurse once. This week it was a little more frequent. I think she was up 3 or 4 nights around 3. She takes four naps during the day. Her longest awake time is 5-9 at night with a cat nap of 10-15 min in there. Otherwise she's rarely up more than an hour or hour and a half. On weekends she nurses 7 times a day. During the week, two of those are replaced with bottles as I nearly always nurse her on my lunch.
She's still not rolling but has tolerated tummy time more lately this last week. This month, she experienced her first two Cyclone BB games, both wins! I remembered a bottle for the first but forgot yesterday. Luckily I found a lactation area at Hilton (Who knew?) I'm all for nursing discreetly in public but it's too crowded and there are too many distractions at games so I was happy to find a lactation area by accident when I went to the changing area to re-tie my Moby Wrap during first half! Now if only my school would have such an area for pumping!
Norah has started sitting in the hair chair at supper. Not to eat but to sit happily with the rest of us. It has allowed Nick and I to eat in semi-peace (we still have a toddler at the table, after all!).
Norah smiles and laughs frequently. She coos a lot too and is generally happy. She smiles a lot for nick and me, but Wes can get smiles effortlessly. It seems she already idolizes her big brother! :)
She's still on reflux medicine. I suspect it needs increased. She's been spitting more and it's often over an hour after she eats and curdled. We will discuss it Tuesday, I'm sure.
I'll update with a monthly pic and he growth stats later!
