
Baby's digestive system is busy creating meconium (a tarry black substance made of swallowed amniotic fluid, digestive secretion and dead cells), which will fill the first diaper after birth. And, speaking of the diaper situation... baby's genitals are now fully formed!
* How far along?: 20 weeks
* Total weight gain: down 2.5
* How big is baby?: 10 oz yesterday, 6.5 oz long (crown to rump)
* Next appointment: Nov. 27-9:15
* Maternity clothes?: Still in the transition phase
* Stretch marks?: Nope
* Sleep?: same
* Best moment this week?: finally knowing Baby S. is a boy
* Movement?: Still irregular but feeling him most days
* Food cravings?: Changes by the day
* Pregnancy symptoms: nausea, constant trips to the bathroom, lack of sleep
* Labor signs?: no
* Belly button in or out?: In
*Gender: Boy!
* What I miss: Restful sleep
* What I'm looking forward to: Registering- I think we'll go with Target and Babies R Us
* Milestone: Well one of the websites I look at mentions the digestive system. Yesterday during our u/s she showed us Baby Schuler's full bladder and stomach.
