Baby's skeleton is hardening, changing from rubbery cartilage to bone, and fat is finally accumulating around it. The umbilical cord is getting thicker and stronger, and those little fingers and toes are now topped by one-of-a-kind prints.
* How far along?: 17 weeks
* Total weight gain: down 2.5
* How big is baby?: about 5 inches long
* Next appointment: Oct 23
* Maternity clothes?: I am done with regular jeans unless I use my Bella Band. They still fit, technically, except I have to pee even more often with them on and buttoned. Otherwise, nothing else is too small.
* Stretch marks?: nope
* Sleep?: still no good
* Best moment this week?: picking out books for Baby S. :)
* Movement?: anxiously waiting. A lot of what I am reading says it should happen soon
* Food cravings?: cheese and pickles.
* Pregnancy symptoms: still the same- nausea and vomiting , constant trips to the bathroom, lack of sleep... as soon as I think the vomiting has subsided, it comes back in full force. It's been a rough 3 days yet I still gained this week.
* Labor signs?: no
* Belly button in or out?: In
*Gender: 15 days until we find out
* What I miss: not feeling nauseous
* What I'm looking forward to: Finding out baby's gender
* Milestone: fingerprints and toeprints. :)
This baby better be really good.
