Norah's latest

Norah had her MRI done Friday. We checked in at 11:30. She was actually still in a great mood at that point. I guess she thought it was fun having mom, dad, and Allyssa to herself!

She was not happy about having to trade her minnie dress in for a hospital gown 

They came for her shortly before 1 and nick and I walked her down and waited for the anesthesiologist. That's actually the first time Norah asked for food. She wanted chocolate milk. We actually had the same anesthesiologist as last time. Norah was again pissed when I handed her over. I did better with it this time. We waited close by and the nurse updated us. We went back to her room when she was a couple minutes from being done. We did have to wait while she went to recovery to wake up. She came back mad this time whereas last time she was still asleep. 

Once she woke up and had two cartons of chocolate milk and some Cheerios she was much happier.

The minnie dress helped too.

After she was up and walking, the nurse took out her Iv and we were out. Norah's pediatrician was off Friday afternoon so we had to wait for results.

She needed a pic with cy on her way out of mgmc.

He called Saturday am while I was at the Easter egg hunt in Griswold. We will see a urologist and a neurosurgeon at the children's hospital in Iowa City. She definitely has reflux and we started on some preventative medicine to keep her from getting Uti's in the meantime. Her spinal cord also had some irregularities so that's why we have the referral to a neurosurgeon. I guess we finally have our answer for her gross motor issues.

Monday we got the call that we will be going next Friday. I also need to take Norah in to get her creatinine levels checked again this week. I will try to get her there tomorrow so I can get results before the weekend.
