10 Months

Norah is ten months old. It is so hard to believe that she is so close to a year. She is still doing things at her pace. No crawling or pulling up, but she is rolling to get things more and scooting on her back. I do think she is closer to army crawling. Yesterday she made a real effort before rolling onto her back. She is just such a happy girl and in no rush!

She is 17lb 12 oz now, so still little for her age but growing! She is nursing 7 times a day, but in two weeks, bottles will replace two of those feedings. I still plan to nurse over lunch until her birthday. I hope that it will help me adjust back to work a little more easily. She is loving purees but isn't much for finger food. We've been working on cups but mostly she just likes to play with them.

She is wearing 6-9 and 9-12 month clothes with a few 3-6 month onesies thrown in. I love that summer clothes are so much more flexible. She really doesn't need anything bigger than 6-9. but I bought a lot of dresses and rompers on clearance last year and they fit just fine.

She's actually starting to jump in the jumperoo I got her last month to work on leg strength. She loves her stacking rings and stacking cups as well as the big block with busy beads on top and anything her brother is playing with. Poor Wesley's trains and tracks were taking abuse yesterday between Norah and Sully!

Wesley is absolutely Norah's favorite person, but I would like to think Nick and I rank pretty high, too.

She has been clapping for about a month and has recently started waving. She's pretty sporadic on that. I am trying to teach her to sign for more, which she has only done once and touchdown but she doesn't do that yet.

Here is Wesley's 10 month post
