What am I thankful for? Well,Wesley and Nick top my list along with the rest of my family. Kinda boring but true.
What is Wesley thankful for? I'm sure his mom and dad top the list, along with Teddy and Sully and other family. He is also thankful for Jamie, his daycare friends, mandarin oranges, wagon rides, good weather that lets him go outside, his toys, especially the ones with wheels, Pink lemonade (that Allyssa shares with him at HuHot), suckers, and M&Ms.
So how did we spend turkey day? We started at my parents' house. Wes was up early and since I was sick, Nick was too. We took pics that morning for my parents' Christmas card, and the masses arrived for lunch. Bless my mother for cooking for so many people! All but one of my maternal cousins was there, so we all had our pic with Grandma. All three of her great grandchildren. Where there, too. 14 of 15 overall. It was a beautiful day, windy but 60 degrees or so. Wesley crashed on me around 3 for a nap until we left for Nick's parents for supper. It was a smaller group but Wesman was grumpy by that point. Too much food and excitement and not enough sleep. He melted down when we got back to my parents' since he was up way past bedtime. He wanted stories read but was too tired to stay up. Poor guy had a fun day but maybe a little too long for a 20 month old!
