Wesley has been babbling for months and months. He has said "Dada" since last fall. But he doesn't just say it to Nick, or even just to people. He says it to the cat, the window, toys, any and everything, so we didn't really think it was his first word.
June 17, he threw his hands up and said, "Taadown!" after we said, "Touchdown." He has done the hand signal since winter, but this was new. I thought maybe it was a fluke because he only did it once, though it was in context. (Well, sort of, it's not like he gets that it's a football team scoring 6 points..."
Anyway, he did it twice more today, so this is officially Wesley's first word! He will be all ready for Cyclone FB this fall!
