I also asked Doctor Beer how far she'd let me go past my due date (really don't want to write more lesson plans that necessary!). She said the longest first timers would go would be 10-14 days, but that she didn't think I'd have to go back to work after spring break. The last day of spring break is March 21 (8 days after EDD).
Baby is doing fine. He was moving around when she was measuring my fundal height (Belly continues to measure ahead and is at 35 weeks). His heart rate was in the upper 150s but then dropped to the lower 140s when he slowed down. It makes sense that his heart rate would be faster when active, but I never really thought about it until we got to hear it. Pretty cool. I go back in two weeks (Feb 4 @ 3PM). I think I start every week after that.
After my appointment today, Nick and I went to Target to exchange a couple of doubles we had. We also picked up a diaper genie, end table, shopping cart cover and car seat protector. Target had lots of baby stuff on sale this week, so we took advantage of that.
After that, we returned a few things to Walmart and got Baby a swaddling blanket, another crib cover, and a sooth and glow seahorse.

Then, we had dinner with Lyss and Jordan. Lyss and I ran to the mall, and I picked up a few things for Baby at JCP (and she got jeans.... ah how I miss regular clothes!!). I got two spare sheets and a cute little robe. I also picked up a couple of things for Baby Will.
