Wes is having a hard time with the transition of me going back to work. He has been waking up early (5ish) and climbing into bed with us to cuddle. He has no problem guilting me saying, "I missed you mommy" and then asking for another book, to sit on my lap, to go on a walk...
Norah has no interest in walking on her own but is doing great with her walker and with holding one hand. She also continues to sit on the potty (her request) but it's just for play right now.
Wes is very excited for preschool. His home visit is Monday. He's been making some effort to write on the magnet board. Only W's, but it's something. We've been doing a tracing workbook, too. He will do it but not for long periods. He doesn't sit still for long periods ever!
I'm doing okay with the transition but miss the kids. I'm used to all day every day and a few hours doesn't seem like enough! Looking forward to the weekend!
