She is wearing almost exclusively 3-6 month clothing, though she wore some 6-9 summer clothes on our trip to FL last week. Dresses are much more flexible! She is in size two diapers. Her 6 month appointment is tomorrow, so I will update with her measurements then.
Norah is obsessed with her hands in feet and likes to look at both. She loved being barefoot all the time in Florida so she could look at them!
She is sleeping 8:30-6:15 most nights. Sometimes she is in bed at 8, and on weekends she will sleep later. She takes 3 naps a day. One in the morning, one in the afternoon around 2, and a short one on the drive back home (4-4:30 ish).
She is still eating (bottle or nursing) 7 times a day. We started baby food Sunday. She has had bananas. She wasn't a huge fan, but she didn't make an awful face either. Indifference. When she drinks a bottle, it is 4 to 5 ounces. I am still keeping up with pumping, but it was SO nice to not have to pump constantly last week. I am so ready for summer! Nursing is so convenient, but only if I can be with her all the time. Pumping is a pain, but I want to keep nursing full time when I am with her, so I do what I have to do.
Besides starting to roll and starting baby food, Norah had a lot of other firsts this month- mostly due to vacation. First plane ride and boat ride. First time swimming, first time to the beach, first time in the ocean. First vacation. First time out of Iowa. A very exciting time, indeed! She was a good baby for the most part. She was pretty happy but did nurse more than usual. I think she got over stimulated, and it was a good way for her to calm herself.
