I am not sure how my baby girl is already 5 months old, but she is. :( She is now wearing size two diapers as of about a week ago. She could still wear 1s but had a couple of blow outs, so when we ran out, I moved her up a size. She is wearing 0-3 and 3-6 month clothing.
Here are some of my favorite pictures from the last month:
Above is Norah in the outfit I bought for her to wear to the beach in a couple of weeks! How cute is she? She has yellow sunglasses, too. She has 3 swimsuits to wear, but they should fit this summer too (fingers crossed).
Below is Norah a couple of weeks ago when she first tried cereal. It was a fail, so we waited until last night and tried again. She liked it this time, but was spitting up quite a bit later, so I will probably try this again and see if that happens again. She had oatmeal.
Here is Norah sleeping in her bouncy seat. She's almost too big for it, but she hasn't loved it like Wes did, so I won't have such a hard time packing it away this time.
Below is Norah in one of my favorite outfits from her Aunt Emi.
Below is Norah doing some tummy time. I had to include this, so I can remember the epic bald spot she has going on! It's starting to grow back the last week or so.
Above is Norah in one of her Valentine's shirts. This one is from Aunt Allyssa.
Below is Norah after bath. She likes baths most nights, but if she is a little hungry or tired, she HATES them.
Above is the obligatory sticker shirt for the monthly frame. I haven't printed pics forever, so her frame only has the just born and 1 month pic in it.
If you look really close in the picture below, you can see Norah's teeth! Her bottom two teeth came in a few weeks ago (the bottom left came in on February 2, and the right one followed a week or so later).
Norah has really woken up lately. She takes 2-3 naps a day most of the time. When we are home, her first nap tends to be right away after she eats the first time (6:30 or 7), then she takes one in the afternoon, which normally overlaps Wesley's nap, which is nice. She typically takes a short nap from 4:15-5. I think she is used to riding home on weekdays and snoozing in the car, so she tends to need this on the weekends too. If I put her down at the right time, she will put herself to sleep, but lately that window of opportunity has been shorter than before.
She still eats 7 times a day most days. 6:15, 9, 11:15, 2:30, 5, 7, and 8:30. Her bottles are 4-5 ounces each. She strongly prefers to nurse, which is good because I HATE pumping. I was okay doing it for a while, but it is getting old.
The poor girl seems to have had an ongoing cold since she was about 1 1/2 months old. It goes away for a bit but always comes back. I hate how often she is sick. I am ready for warmer weather! I am hoping that helps!
Norah is still not rolling. She is tolerating tummy time better, but when she gets sick of tummy time, she just plants her face on the floor/blanket and screams. She hasn't decided that she can just roll and be done with it. I think when she rolls, she would roll from her back to belly. She seems to make more of an effort that way, but she still seems content just hanging out.
She smiles and laughs a lot. She still enjoys the play mat gym. She still likes her Rock N Play, but she is getting a little on the big side for that. I will be sad to pack that away. When she doesn't want to sleep in her crib, she will sleep in there a lot of the time.
