Easter 2012

Today wraps up my 4- day weekend for Easter (aka "spring break" for this year).

We went back to Southwest Iowa Thursday night after Wesley's appointment with Early Access. By the time we got home, we mostly just put Wes to bed.

Friday, Wes and I went with my parents to visit my dad's mom and step dad. Seth came out to the farm that night as well.

Saturday was a busy day. We had the Griswold Easter Egg Hunt at one. Wes did great until he saw the Easter Bunny, then he froze. Wesley does not enjoy grown ups dressed up in animal costumes (how am I ever going to get a pic of him and Cy together this fall?!). After that we had Wesley's birthday celebration for with my side of the family at my aunt's house. We dyed Easter eggs, too, so Wes ended up with one orange hand and one greenish blue one.

Sunday was Easter Egg hunt at my parents', church, dinner, and then off to Nick's parents' house. We finally got home yesterday evening.

Today has been a mother-son bonding day. So far we have played with his new birthday gifts, gone to play pals, returned books to the library, and went grocery shopping. Wes is napping now, and I am taking a break while doing laundry.
