We're starting to put away some of his 18 month clothes that are too small, mostly shirts. 2t shirts fit well but 2t and 24 month pants are mostly way too long still, and at the same time a few of his 18 month pants look like high waters.. Awkward size right now. He's still in size 4 diapers but we'll probably go up to fives when the current case runs out. He's wearing size 7 shoes and boots and 2t 3t docks when he'll leave them on, which is rare.
He takes off his shoes and socks almost every time we're in the car and it's too cold for that!!!
With his current ear infection, he went to the doctor on Jan 12 and was 27 pounds.
We just did the 22 month photo today (1/22) because with the cold that turned into an ear infection his face was a mess, though he has a bump on his forehead and scratch on his cheek now. :( My poor baby is definitely all boy!
His favorite toys now are his truck from Grandma and Grandpa Bruce that fits wheelies in the back, his handle hauler farm truck, his slide, playhouse and Legos.
He still loves to read Dear Zoo but normally once in a sitting is enough for him (a nice change), were still enjoying all his new books from Christmas and went to the library a couple of weeks ago. Leslie Petrelli books are his gav from the library. They need to be on his birthday wish list.
I've been starting plans for his birthday. We'll have trucks, cars, etc for his theme and will likely have 2 parties but not a lot of details. I have a few ideas for cakes, so I will probably try out a different one at each party. I need a toy backho to do one, but I think I can find one at my parents' and for the other I need a 2-shaped pan or possibly just a sheet if I can't find that- but I have some time. :)
