Wesley's checkup was today, so I have been waiting to write his one year post. Wesley weighs 21 lbs, 12 oz and is 29 inches long. His head measured 45.5 cm. His weight is 29th %ile and height 21st %ile. He had to have 4 shots today :( Poor little guy!
He is wearing a few 6-9 clothes, mostly 9-12 month clothes and a few 12-18 month clothes. He is in size 4 diapers and 12-24 month socks. He is in a 3 or so for shoes but he doesn't wear them much.
Bed time is around 7:30. Wake up time is at 6:15 or so during the week and closer to 8 on the weekends, give or take. He takes one nap around 1PM. Occasionally, he takes a morning cat nap during the week or if we are in the car.
He crawls, crawls, and crawls some more. He pulls up on any and every thing and cruises, too. He is not standing alone or walking. I, personally, am not in a hurry. It'd be nice if he walks by summer. Dr. Nau said he thought he'd walk by 14 or 15 months, but I have no idea where that guess came from.
Wesley still has 6 teeth. He doesn't mind getting them brushed despite hating it at first. He has been known to bite but not too often.
He has become less patient. If he is in a high chair, good better be there, too. He also fights us when he is getting his diaper changed. He has crawled away without pants many times!
He loves his ride on toy Nick and I got him for his birthday. He's not tall enough to move himself, so he wants us to do it for him.... and he gets MAD when his Mickey plane stops moving!
Can't believe my baby is one and he doesn't have another well-visit for 6 months now!
