Here his is rocking the mohawk at the kids' recent Christmas pictures.
This spring/summer Wes played baseball and soccer. It was crazy, but he had a great time. He got really good at being Goalie in the spring season and had fun. This was his first go round at baseball but it was cool to see how much he improved. He played mostly third base and right field. He also did swimming lessons this year and passed level 3. I think we will look at private lessons this coming spring because he had a couple of those and he made so much more improvement with those.
This fall, he played soccer again and started 3rd grade. He moved up to U10 for soccer, so the field grew. Again, he improved so much and the highlight for him was scoring a goal that helped his team in their first win of the season.
He has a great teacher again this year. He enjoys having me at his school some of the time now, so that's fun. He still takes Concerta for his ADHD and still is working on meeting grade level reading standards, but excelling in math. He is so comfortable with the kid he is and I hope he never loses that. He's pretty great, and I love seeing him growing up into a great little man.
He continues to love the Cyclones more than most anything. His room is decked out in red and gold, and much of his Christmas list centers around ISU.
I'll leave you with his third grade school pic.
