Today's the first day of summer that I'm with both kids. We've been to the park and the grocery store before heading to the pool. The kids swam and laughed and played. We came home and had Popsicles on the deck before quiet time. Then I laid Norah down for nap since she has dance class later and I could smell the chlorine and sunscreen. Wes is playing with cars and magnatiles in his room and I'm lounging.
Here are the moments I live for. I love teaching but it's exhausting and bringing home work gets old. But now, I'm at the start of summer. 2.5 Months of mostly just being a mom and it's worth it!
We're going to pack lots of memories into this summer! ☀️
