PT Yesterday/Crawling Update

Yesterday at ChildServe was nothing short of tragic. Norah was happy-ish for all of 5 minutes and then it was a meltdown. We tried to let her have her fit and calm on her own towards the end, but she is SO stubborn that she outlasted her appointment time and it was time to go home. Ugh. There is an ISU student observing right now, and I feel like she may make him never want to being a pediatric PT/PTA. Jill says she is at a tough age for this, but that Norah is her most stubborn right now.

Fast forward an hour and a half or so.... it's almost time for bed and Norah crawls part way down the hallway and into her room for milk and stories. Allyssa had to keep her from sitting down, but Norah was doing the work on her own. She didn't even yell about it. I think this is her official first crawl. 2/12/14.

So...we are getting there, and the stuff Jill is teaching us and showing us for things to do at home are working. Now, to get her to bear weight on her legs, she is still hating that but will pull up on her knees, so that's a step in the right direction.
