Two Year Old!
My little boy is two! I think this will be my last "monthly" update. I'll probably move to every 3 months or so.
So where is he at? He's wearing 12-18 month, 18-24 month, and 2T clothes. He's wearing size 7 shoes and size 5 diapers.
His words aren't growing as quickly as I'd like but he's making progress. He is interested in animal noises, so that's what I have been working on with him. He knows what sounds cows, pigs, dogs, cats, horses, and sheep say. We've also worked on bear and monkey. He likes that kind of thing. Words, not so much. He will say something if I ask him, "Can you say....?" He'll say something but the same effort is not there.
We've been enjoying the weather lately. Wes loves to be outside. One of his new birthday toys is a Cozy Coupe, so we've loved that. He also loves to go in his wagon to the park. He loves to push his shopping cart around, too. He got some new trucks and other vehicles to push around outside from his cousins, too, so he has been enjoying those as well. We brought the slide back out, and we will have to get his playhouse out there soon, too.
We switched Wesley to forward facing in the car last weekend, too. He doesn't seem to care one way or the other. It'll be nice to have the ability to let him watch videos when we make long trips. He's not really into tv, but will watch videos on our phones and the iPad or in the car.
Wesley is still a fruit monster. He loves strawberries, so it's nice that those are back in season now. He's also loving the grapes. He is hating casseroles of any sort. He's okay if he can eat things by themselves. He is just disgusted by beef stew and cheesy hash browns. How dare we put things together!? :)
