Day One of Summer.

Today, Wes was up at about 7. We got up and he had breakfast. We played inside until 8:30 or so, then we headed to the grocery store so I could get supplies for my friend's going away party Thursday. When we got back and unloaded we went to the park (with Teddy) and I pushed Wes on the swings. He does not love the park swings still. When we got home, we finger painted in the back yard but Wes was grumpy to learn that he doesn't enjoy the taste of paint. Then it was time for bath and lunch. Then we played in the yard and sat on the lawn chairs before nap. Or Wes sat while I weeded the garden and flower beds. Then it was nap time for Wes and shower time for me. That brings us to now. After nap and snack, we are headed to DM to visit a friend of mine in the hospital. Then we'll be back for dinner and Wes will hang out with his dad while I head to Zumba with Allyssa. Busy day!
