He's still not walking, but he is a pro-crawler. He's pretty good at cruising, too. He doesn't even attempt to stand alone, let alone walk. He'll get there.
This month a challenge has been that Wesley knows what he wants but can't communicate. We are starting to work on sign language. Better late than never, right? We are working on milk now, and will add more soon. I ordered a book for basic baby signs that should be here tomorrow. I so wish I would have done this sooner. I don't think he's anywhere near talking, but maybe he'll surprise me. It would just be nice to hear him babble somethings besides dadadada all the time. Hopefully signing will avoid the catastrophe at supper last night when he was trying to tell me he wanted more strawberries, not just one, but one for each hand and some for his tray, too.
Wesley LOVES strawberries. He loves fruit and grains bars, too. He still loves bananas and mandarin oranges. He loves green beans, too, which he used to hate. He likes ham and cheese sandwiches.
He is mostly in 12 month clothes and a few 18 month clothes. He's long-bodied so the onesies fit better than the pants in the bigger size. He's in size 4 diapers, and I bet he will be for a long while.
