I don't really expect the old wives' tales to work, but I have still been trying them. 13 days until I am due, and I am ready for "Lafester" to make his appearance. I've eaten spicy food the last couple of days, which is not helping with the acid reflux and just took Teddy for a nice long walk. Only 1 contraction all day... not exactly progress.
Well, off to make some labor cookies... The directions say to eat as many as I can stomach... not sure that's a good idea. Hmmm. ;)
Note: For those of you who don't know... the baby's name is not Lafester. Mom and Lyss started calling him that after Lafester Rhoades (former ISU BB player) was mentioned at a game back in Dec. It stuck as a nickname. Baby S. still has no actual name.
