Today was a regular appointment- weight, blood pressure, heartbeat, etc. I also had to get my thyroid levels checked since it'd been about 12 weeks since the last check. The phlebotomist had to poke me twice and move around the needle... I had flashbacks to being a little kid getting my blood drawn in Griswold (NOT FUN!) At the next appointment I have to get blood tests (1 hr glucose screen), so there will be even more poking. >:|
On a happy note Baby Schuler's heart was beating away at 155 beats per minute. He was moving around a lot, making it hard for my doctor to get a rate.
After the next appointment, I start going every 2 weeks, which seems crazy. I'll be hitting third trimester December 11; time is flying!
